WWE Hall of Famer Edge is Master Manipulator for a reason as he is willing to build a lot of confusions around his WrestleMania opponent. After teasing to go after the WWE Championship, he is now teasing an appearance on tonight’s WWE NXT episode on the USA Network, possibly trying to go after both the NXT as well as the Cruiserweight title.
Edge took his Twitter handle, a few hours ago and noted that he’s currently in Orlando to visit his wife, WWE Hall of Famer Beth Phoenix who calls the actions for weekly NXT shows alongside Vic Joseph and Wade Barrett.

What Edge will be doing on NXT?
It’s possible that Edge may have a confrontation with the NXT Champion Finn Balor for a potential dream match over the NXT Championship at WrestleMania 37. Rumble winners can ask for NXT Title matches, nowadays as NXT is officially the third brand of the WWE. (Charlotte Flair challenged the then NXT Women’s Champions Rhea Ripley at WrestleMania 36 after winning the Women’s Royal Rumble match last year).
There’s another possibility for Edge to be on NXT to confront the Cruiserweight Champion Santos Escobar, who will be defending his Title against Curt Stallion. Following the historic win of the veteran, this past Sunday Escobar tweeted that he had never liked the eleven-time world champion.
I never liked @EdgeRatedR ☠️????

Apart from the appearance on NXT, Edge is also set to make his return on SmackDown this Friday night which will be his very first appearance since October 2018. It’s believed that he will be teasing a match against WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 37. He returned to action at Sunday’s WWE Royal Rumble pay-per-view and won the 30-Man Rumble Match. Plus, he defeated Randy Orton in the main event of last night’s RAW.
Edge originally returned at last year’s Royal Rumble for his first in-ring competition in nine years. While many thought it would just be a one-off appearance for the Rated R Superstar, he stuck around for a feud with Randy Orton. Now after overcoming a tricep surgery, he’s on the road to WrestleMania 37.
