The pro-wrestling industry is currently buzzing over the shocking return of CM Punk to the squared circle. It was perhaps the most pleasant surprise delivered by the former WWE Champion to show in a show as a wrestler. As hard it is to believe that he featured in an action, it indeed happened in front of the audience eyes. But sadly, they were not smart enough to understand that he appeared in disguise.
Is WWE unifying Becky’s two belts?
The unthinkable happened during the recently concluded MKE Wrestling show over the course of this weekend. CM Punk found his way back to Professional Wrestling for the very first time since he departed from the WWE. This also marked a potential indication of coming back from retirement announced back in 2014.

CM Punk came out in the middle of only 350 people who were enjoying the show. He hit the pendant finishing maneuver Go to Sleep Daryck St. Holmes allowing his opponent to win the match via pinfall. He left the ring as the audience barely could have imagined who just appeared in front of them. The Former WWE Champion came out in fully covered clothes alongside his face covered with a mask. He made sure that nobody could recognize him.
But the speculation started over the return since the crowd saw the pendant GTS move made famous by the ‘best in the world’. Thereafter, Ring of Honor star Silas Young eventually confirmed the comeback of CM Punk to pro-wrestling via the following tweet. The man in concern has not reacted on this return till now. So it is not an accurate time to tell whether he wants to stick around the pro-wrestling business or not.
Last night we held @MKE_Wrestling at the Knights of Columbus building in west allis the place was packed with 350 people. This place has had 25+ years of wrestling and is the place a lot of guys started. Guys like @ColtCabana as well as a Punk who showed up in a mask last night

Prior to this, a number of rival promotions of WWE namely ROH, NJPW and even AEW have shown interest to bring back CM Punk. But this man always denied coming back to the squared circle. Here what he has previously stated confirming that he is over with pro-wrestling,
“I said a bunch of stuff about wrestling, like how I’d never gotten a true offer, this does not mean I want to wrestle. I’m done, I’m done, I’m done with professional wrestling. A lot of people like to be mad at me about that. They make fun of me because I lost my first fight, and that’s fine you’re entitled to your opinion. But you do not own me and I am entitled to do what I want to do and that’s what I’m doing. Wrestling is in the rearview mirror.”
