With just four weeks remaining from Wrestlemania, WWE Raw fell short with big names being kept away from it.

With just four weeks remaining from Wrestlemania, WWE Raw fell short with big names being kept away from it. We expect that the big names will resurface during this season. But, particularly, this year, this seems to be an exception. Names like Brock Lesnar, The Undertaker and more were absent from the show making the fans go irate about it.

As advertised earlier, Brock Lesnar was about to have a face-off with Roman Reigns to headline the show. However, that never happened since the champion decided not to show up on WWE Raw for three weeks in a row. It is to be noted, advertising the beast incarnate on a show boosts the ratings of a show to a huge extent. So, it is evident that the fans would not be happy after the ‘no-showing’ continues.

Once the main show went off the air, the crowd in Detroit, Michigan declared their frustrations owing to this. They were even more outrageous with Ronda Rousey not present on the show, as well. Previously, she was advertised to share a segment with Stephanie McMahon. But, her name was later removed. Check out the updates provided by wrestlingINC.com on this fan backlash:

“There was no dark main event after this week’s RAW in Detroit went off the air. Correspondent Ed Haynes sent word that fans were upset because there was no eight-man dark main event as advertised and no appearances by Ronda Rousey or WWE Universal Champion Brock Lesnar, who were also advertised.”

The scheduled main event match was supposed to witness WWE RAW Tag Team Champions The Bar, Kane and WWE Intercontinental Champion The Miz taking on Braun Strowman, John Cena, Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins.

This is supposed to be a precautionary step to keep the storyline perspective intact by the creative team. They wanted to portray the angle of Roman Reigns being suspended. So, no match was hosted in the dark segment.

Furthermore, Ronda Rousey was also removed from the earlier schedule which advertised that she will be appearing on each of the episodes of WWE Raw on the Road to Wrestlemania. According to the new updates announcement by the WWE, the only episode we will see her will be the go-home show for the biggest event. It will be the April 2nd edition at the Philips Arena in Atlanta, Georgia.
