It was a long road for Daniel Bryan while coming back to in-ring competition in the WWE. It finally happened on last night’s episode of Smackdown which overshadowed each and everything. After a long time, this headliner was able to deliver an impactful episode heading into the Wrestlemania season.
The show ended on a sour note, though, where the Smackdown general manager was forced to leave the ring on a stretcher. Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn delivered a massive assault to the leader of the YES Nation. Bryan was down and out after digesting an assault from the two big heels of the division.
He was stretchered out of the arena after the show to be reported to the local medical facility. More updates should be made available on this topic shortly.
Meanwhile, there was a six-man tag team action reserved for the fans in Dallas, Texas. They were able to go home on a happy note after the babyfaces won the contest. Check out the updates from wrestlingINC regarding the dark match,
“The dark match before tonight’s WWE SmackDown in Dallas saw Zack Ryder, Tyler Breeze, and Fandango defeat Mojo Rawley, Shelton Benjamin and Chad Gable in six-man action. Our correspondent noted that Ryder received a very loud reaction, up there with some of the reactions he heard for top Superstars while in attendance for Monday’s RAW.”
Also, a lot has happened on the Smackdown fallout show. We are now confirmed that two battle royal matches will take place at Wrestlemania 34 from the men and women’s division. We have received the first set of names for the battle royal contests.
The members of the Riott Squared featured in a video released on WWE Youtube channel to confirm that they will feature in the women’s battle royal contest. Ruby Riott, Sarah Logan, and Liv Morgan seemed quite confident heading into the contest. Natalya was the fourth to throw her name into the mix.
From the men’s division, Baron Corbin was the one to declare that he is heading to the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal, trying to win for the second time in his WWE career.
