Madison Square Garden is often considered to be the home of professional wrestling, especially for the WWE Universe. It all began for the company from this city. A few months later WWE’s headquarters is also going to be shifted to New York City from the Titan Towers in Stamford, Connecticut. Perhaps, WWE’s show-tapings from the “The World’s Most Famous Arena” might just increase following the move.
It’s been noted in recent reports that Madison Square Garden is not going to be relocated. This is one of the biggest venues in the world of wrestling and in mainstream sporting and entertainment events, and the original founding stone will be kept intact.

PWInsider reports that Madison Square Garden will not be undergoing a relocation. Over the past few months, MSG has been going through a lot of troubles due to its placement. But all those turbulence came to an end in the late November hearing when MTA Chairman Janno Lieber said that the venue won’t be moved, anywhere else.
The biggest reason why Madison Square Garden’s potential shift was stopped is that the logistical proceedings would prevent the Penn Station and all of its facilities from undergoing renovation. The station works as a host for Long Island Railroad, New Jersey Transit, and Amtrak lines, and all of these are located underneath MSG.
Lieber asked in the hearing, “Where would Madison Square Garden move? How would it be funded?” as the total estimates of relocating the venue were figured to be around $8.6 billion dollars. So it’s not going anywhere else from the NY city.

Sitting at the heart of Manhattan, this held many events of WWE, including the first, 10th, and 20th Wrestlemania, numerous other show tapings, and also events from WWE NXT, WCW, GLOW, AAA Lucha Libre, Ring of Honor, and New Japan Pro Wrestling’s G1 Supercard.
