Wrestlemania 38 is barely three months away in the WWE calendar. Once again, the company promises to deliver a huge edition of the yearly PPV show that will take place through two nights instead of one night. Megastars all-around professional wrestling are likely to be gathered on this auspicious night where we also expect to receive some solid matches.
Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch is one of the top superstars of Monday Night Raw and it’s almost certain that she will be there to compete at Wrestlemania 38 in a show-stealing matchup. We have recently received an update on who could possibly end up being her opponent on that night.
WWE NXT Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic 2022 Edition Officially Announced
During this past WWE Day 1 pay-per-view, Becky Lynch defeated Liv Morgan to retain the RAW Women’s Championship. With Liv not being able to capture the title, many fans are thinking that WWE will finally give her the big ‘title winning’ moment at WrestleMania 38 where she could be booked to win the RAW Women’s Championship, but it looks like that won’t be the case.
WWE Raw: Becky Lynch’s Royal Rumble 2022 Opponent To Be Decided Next Week
Becky Lynch set for a rematch at Wrestlemania 38
According to reports from the Wrestling Observer, WWE is planning to host Becky Lynch vs. Bianca Belair for the RAW Women’s Championship at WrestleMania 38,
“They booked it not to kill [Liv Morgan] off and to go again, because the Mania match is Bianca Belair vs Becky Lynch. So, they need something to take time, because they don’t wanna do that match before Mania if that is your big Mania match. So, you have to keep this thing going for as long as you can.”
If this is the case then possibly Bianca Belair won’t win the Triple Threat number-one contender’s match on next week’s Raw to challenge Becky for the women’s title at Royal Rumble 2022. In that case, Liv may end up getting another title match at Rumble while Belair will be saved for Becky at Wrestlemania 38.
We have already seen a feud between Becky and Bianca which started at SummerSlam 2021 when Becky made her long-awaited return to WWE programming and quickly defeated Bianca in an impromptu match to win the Smackdown women’s title.
