Hosted in the state of Texas, Wrestlemania 38 was promoted as the biggest of all time given since it had the biggest match of all time in the main event slot. WWE Champion Brock Lesnar and Universal Champion Roman Reigns collided in a Champion vs. Champion Title Unification Winner Takes All bout to cap off the night.

As always, Wrestlemania 38 set new records and crowned the first-ever Undisputed WWE Universal Champion, coming out of the show in Roman Reigns. The event was a financial success, as well as touted during WWE’s filed Q1 financial report.

The company announced its First Quarter 2022 report last night including a quarterly record of $333.4 million in revenue, among other highlights. * WrestleMania was held at AT&T Stadium in Dallas over two consecutive nights in front of a combined 156,352 fans. WrestleMania was WWE’s highest-grossing and most-attended event in company history

* WrestleMania was the most viewed WWE premium live event of all time. Global unique viewership increased 54% and domestic unique viewership increased 61% year-over-year

* WrestleMania was the second most viewed event on Peacock to date, behind only Super Bowl LVI

* WrestleMania generated 2.2 billion social media impressions, more than the 1.8 billion impressions generated by Super Bowl LVI

* WrestleMania 38 viewership in India was a record 56.1 million, a 29% increase year-over-year

Wrestlemania 38 was hosted from the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Dallas, Texas. Next year, another two-night installment is in the making as the Biggest Event of the Year gets hosted under the bright lights of Hollywood. Wrestlemania 39 will take place from the SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California.

Wrestlemania 38 season was eventually extended for a month as WWE reintroduced Backlash premium live event as Wrestlemania Backlash is set to take place, this weekend. A rematch from ‘Mania between Ronda Rousey and Charlotte Flair over the Smackdown Women’s Title is likely to be the main event of the night. Dual champion Roman Reigns will also be in action in a non-title six-man tag team match.
