Pat McAfee vs. Austin Theory singles bout has now been placed on the Night Two card of WrestleMania 38 or WrestleMania Sunday. WWE announced this cross-brand matchup during this past Friday’s SmackDown, but now they have confirmed the bout for WrestleMania Sunday.
McAfee vs. Theory joined Johnny Knoxville vs. Sami Zayn and the potential main event of Wrestlemania 38, Winner Takes All Title Unification Match between WWE Champion Brock Lesnar and WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns that has already been confirmed matches for WrestleMania Sunday.
WWE Raw: New Champions Crowned Ahead Of Wrestlemania 38
The McAfee vs. Theory lineup is expected to change in due course as Vince McMahon will play a key role in this matchup. The WWE Chairman is the original name who might go on to square off against McAfee at the Grandest Stage of Them All but it’s yet to be confirmed.
WWE Raw: Stone Cold To Respond To Wrestlemania 38 Challenge, Tonight
AJ Styles vs. WWE Hall of Famer Edge has also been made official for Night Two of WrestleMania 38/WrestleMania Sunday. This match was confirmed during last week’s Raw after AJ showed up in the main event segment to accept the open challenge issued by the Rated R superstar. Edge turned heel on AJ by delivering a beatdown to close the segment.
Edge returned to this week’s RAW and delivered a heel promo where he claimed to be in a dark place, these days. WWE has also confirmed the match for WrestleMania Sunday, afterward.
