WWE has confirmed that Wrestlemania 39 will continue the tradition of being a two-night event on a global scale. In 2023, the Biggest Event of the Year is scheduled to happen at the SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California on April 1 and 2. To capture the Hollywood market, it’s expected that the who’s who of professional wrestling will be gathered at the time of the event.
Roman Reigns is the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion who has been the top-most superstar for the company over the past couple of years. He’s been unbeatable for the last two years and is obviously the favorite to be the main-eventer when it comes to Wrestlemania 39.

For a very long time now, fans have been speculating about the impending match between Roman Reigns and The Rock at WrestleMania 39. Many believe that this match will end up becoming one of the greatest matches in the history of the event. WWE wants the match to happen, as well as it’s still in the pipeline.
WrestleMania 39 is being promoted as WrestleMania Hollywood and it makes sense for the fans to expect the biggest star of the movie industry and WWF Legend Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson to feature in the headliner segment.

The Rock reportedly available for WWE Wrestlemania 39
According to the Wrestling Observer, WWE officials also want to book The Rock vs. Roman Reigns as the main event of Night Two. But then again, Rock’s schedule could provide a hindrance,
“It’s the plan. It’s 100% the plan for [next] year. But the idea is, it’s the plan if [The Rock] can do it. We’re still months away, months and months away. So many opportunities and things like that may come up that are far more important than WrestleMania.”
A few months ago, a report claimed that The Rock currently doesn’t have any movie commitments heading into WrestleMania 39 season. If that’s the case then he would be available for the biggest WWE event of 2023. Plus, Ringside News also claimed that The Brahma Bull is virtually a lock to be present at the Biggest PLE of the Year.
That being said, we can definitely expect The Rock to appear at the Show of Shows. The final time he competed in an impromptu match was at WrestleMania 32 in 2016 where he defeated Erick Rowan of The Wyatt Family in just 6 seconds.
