Wrestlemania 39 will be held under the bright lights of Hollywood at the SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California. All the active WWE superstars and legends will be injected into the math card of the show to make the two-night event a grand success. WWE is yet to travel a long road before making the final plans around the event and booking superstars for it.
Rey Mysterio from Monday Night Raw is one of those legendary superstars who are still very much active in the ring and he’s likely to be booked in a big match at Wrestlemania 39. In fact, the Master of 619 also has an opponent in mind when it comes to the Biggest Event of the Year.

Mysterio was recently interviewed by Inside The Ropes where he commented on his professional wrestling career, his current run on Monday Night RAW, and potential Wrestlemania 39 opponent for himself.
Apparently, the greatest Luchador wants to work with his current rival at the Showcase of Immortals. Mysterio seemed ecstatic to work against Finn Balor at Wrestlemania 39 after he was asked to pick his desired opponent.

Rey Mysterio named Finn Balor as Wrestlemania 39 opponent
Here’s what Rey Mysterio had to say about his Wrestlemania 39 opponent,
“The one guy I had in mind, and it’s actually happening right now as we speak is Finn Balor. The opportunity of working against Finn, and these last couple of weeks that we have been on Raw, I really feel like we have great chemistry together.”
“It was bound to happen just because I know how dedicated he is, and how committed he is, so I think the program I have been doing with Finn has been incredible.” (quotes courtesy Wrestling INC)
Mysterio and his son, Dominik have been involved in a feud with The Judgement Day – Rhea Ripley, Finn Balor, and Damian Priest over the 2022 summer. The heel faction targeted the father-son duo and battered them before ex-Judgment Day leader Edge returned to form an alliance with them. Only time will tell whether the program will be stretched up to Wrestlemania 39 or not.
WWE has already sold almost 90% of tickets for Wrestlemania 39. No match for the WWE PLE has been confirmed but stars like Roman Reigns Reigns, Brock Lesnar, Bobby Lashley, Becky Lynch, and Ronda Rousey are being advertised for the event.
