In an expected move, WWE doesn’t have Brock Lesnar advertised for their Wrestlemania Backlash 2022 premium live event. As of this writing, the top superstar has been pulled from the talent listing for the upcoming event set in May.

As per the earlier listings, Lesnar had been advertised for WrestleMania Backlash 2022 and Money in the Bank since the time the events were first announced. But the current pulling from the event makes sense since he’s not present on TV and at this point, it doesn’t make any sense to have him back given he works only a limited amount of dates in the WWE.

Wrestlemania Backlash 2022: Brock Lesnar Pulled From WWE PLE 1

Brock Lesnar has not been seen on TV since losing the WrestleMania 38 main event to his long-time rival in the new Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns. But coming out of the Show of Shows, he was still being advertised for Wrestlemania Backlash 2022 and Money in the Bank in July.

But in an update, WWE updated their events page listing for WrestleMania Backlash 2022, and Lesnar was removed from it. The host venue of the show, the Dunkin’ Donuts Center website still has the previous graphic up with the former WWE Champion on it but the WWE event website was updated this week and he was pulled. Following this change, we can expect the Backlash graphic on the arena website should be updated, very soon.

That being said, the only upcoming show WWE has Lesnar advertised for, is the Money in the Bank premium live event, scheduled for Saturday, July 2 from Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada.
