WWE: Brock Lesnar to feature in a Champion vs Champion Match
Feb 17, 2018 at 9:05 PM
Brock Lesnar had featured in a huge triple threat championship match at the Royal Rumble PPV against Kane and Braun Strowman. By pinning the Big Red Machine, the champion retained his title continuing the title run that has reached 300 plus days. In the Universal Championship history, this is the longest run since its innovation back in Summerslam 2016.
Going forward, the beast incarnate was sent into another hiatus from WWE Raw in order to resurface just-in-time for Wrestlemania 34.
Brock Lesnar set to receive a new number one contender at the upcoming Elimination Chamber event against whom he will have to defend the title at the biggest event of the year.
Once the Chamber match is over on February 25th, the beast incarnate will return on the flagship show, the very next night.
As per the recent advertisements, Brock Lesnar will appear on WWE Raw in Anaheim, California on the February 26th episode.
Meanwhile, the appearance schedule will become busier for him on the Road to Wrestlemania.
As reported earlier, the Conqueror will face Kane in a huge championship match at a live event on March 3rd.
Furthermore, he has now been added to another big champion vs. champion match in a house show on March 9th, as well. The Universal Champion will take on the Intercontinental Champion in a first-time ever matchup.
In a recent report from GiveMeSport.om gave updates on the updated appearances for Brock Lesnar:
“The Beast’s WWE schedule is expected to pick up leading up to WrestleMania, as he is also booked to face Kane at the United Center in Chicago on March 3, and he will also have a triple threat match against Strowman and Kane the following week at Madison Square Garden in New York on March 16. At the last Raw live event before WrestleMania 34 on March 30 at the TD Garden in Boston, Lesnar is also scheduled to be in action, but no opponent has been named for him as of yet.”
In the month of March, WWE will be having the Wrestlemania special tours with some huge matches on the card to set the tone.
So, we can expect a couple of more big matches for the reigning champion in the latter two mentioned events. Also, it will be interesting to witness the first time contest where Lesnar will compete against The Miz, for the very first time.
