For the past several weeks, the rumors around Chelsea Green possibly joining back WWE have been doing the rounds on the internet. The possibility of the former Hot Mess returning to WWE has been brighter given that the Canadian Superstar is done with her time with Impact Wrestling. She even signaled the same by saying goodbye to the Impact audience in a recent taping.
During the latest Impact episode on AXS TV, Chelsea Green lost a match to Mickie James and then appeared in a promo session to wrap things up with the promotion. She said in the promo to her VXT tag team partner Deonna Purrazzo that she was upset that she couldn’t beat and retire the legendary female wrestler, Mickie. So, she planned to go home after that,
“I was supposed to beat her. I was supposed to retire Mickie James, Deonna. I’m going. I’m going home. Deonna, I’m going home.”

Chelsea Green went home after that and many assume the reference to be at home could be a hint to her arrival in the WWE. Hours later, she took to Twitter and remembered her main roster debut, from two years ago. The timing of dropping the tweet having the below comments are certainly interesting,
“2 years ago today I made my @wwe Smackdown debut.”

Chelsea Green spent time in WWE from 2018 to 2021
During her WWE Smackdown debut in November 2020, Chelsea Green was called up to WWE’s main roster but she suffered a hand injury during that first match. She never returned to TV as WWE released her from their contract but despite being released, she was allowed to continue attending WWE’s Performance Center for the healing process.
To add more fuel to the ongoing speculations about her return to the WWE, Chelsea Green recently stated that she has unfinished business in WWE,
“I have unfinished business at WWE, period. But I would go into it totally different than I did the last time, and I think that’s also the beauty of growing up.”
However, the gorgeous superstar has denied that WWE was in contact with her and she is booked for future shows through next year’s March. But with Triple H on a spree of signing bright female talents, we can certainly hope to get her back on the WWE main roster.
Chelsea Green was with WWE from 2018 to 2021 before getting released by the company as part of the ‘budget cuts.’ Afterward, she appeared for Ring of Honor in July 2021 but she would ultimately join Impact Wrestling later that month to become an Impact Knockouts World Tag Team Champion with her bestie Deonna Purrazzo.
