WWE Wrestlemania is just one month away and it’s time for the final stop on the road i.e. WWE Fastlane. This year the main event will be to determine Triple H’s opponent at Wrestlemania. This certainly shows how thin the roster is right now so that Triple H has to fill the champion’s position at this age and not only that he is going to be featured in the main event of Wrestlemania. Since after Elimination Chamber was eliminated in February, Fastlane has taken its place and for the 2nd consecutive year will determine the number one contender for the WWE title.
United States Championship: Alberto Del Rio vs. Kalisto (2 out of 3 falls match)
Kalisto is the man on a mission who is out to prove that his US title victory was not a fluke as he meets Del Rio in 2 out of 3 falls match this time. The U.S. Championship has swung back and forth between Kalisto and Del Rio three times since the beginning of 2016. Now they will duke it out once more, this time in a match type known for testing competitors’ endurance. Considering a hyped booking for Kalisto at Wrestlemania, he should retain the title with him in a contest where Del Rio will take the masked Luchagor to the limit.
Prediction: Kalisto will retain the US title
Intercontinental Championship: Kevin Owens vs. Dolph Ziggler
It was a brilliant decision by WWE to give the IC title to Owens who deserved it much longer and also the Creative wanted to create some sort of uncertainty in the main event of Fastlane by taking off the title from Ambrose. This feud has nothing many storylines with both of the guys traded wins in decent matches for the better part of the last two months. This time, Owens should get a proper feud to show his talent at the grandest stage of Wrestlemania. So, the title will be intact with “Fight Owens Fight”.
Prediction: Kevin Owens will retain his title after a decent match
Six men tag match Big Show, Ryback, Kane vs. The Wyatt family
Remember the tag team match between the Wyatts against Undertaker and Kane? The phenom and his brother won just because they had to win as to celebrate Taker’s 25th anniversary in WWE. WWE don’t want you to remember it either. This is perhaps the kind of rematch where the Wyatts will dismantle the so called “Titans of WWE” for taking on Brock Lesnar for the later part of the year and gain momentum from it. After a brawl that Wyatts love to create in the ring they will find a way to win the contest.
Prediction: Wyatt family will emerge victorious
Divas championship: Charlotte vs. Brie Bella
Brie Bella has already indicated a sign to hang up her boots forever after his husband’s departure. Maybe, one last time she should get her hand on the title to get a proper send-off, but that’s not going to happen in this case. Charlotte vs. Banks is a storyline that is pending since Royal Rumble and will eventually happen at Wrestlemania with Becky Lynch into the mix. So this will be Charlotte all the way to showcase her versatility and establish herself as the strongest heel of the DIavs division.
Prediction: Charlotte retains her title quite easily
