Having the least experience on how to mix it up inside the squared circle, Lana managed to excel in the trade during her WWE tenure. No matter what role was given to her, she played it with integrity and became was one of the highlights of WWE television. Despite the criticisms, it’s safe to say that she worked hard to establish her name as well as a solid fan following.

In the summer of last year, Lana was let go of her WWE contract since the lucrative deal was costing too much to the company. Now going by her real name of CJ Perry, she has been focused on various outside projects, mainly offering premium content. She recently racked up $20k in one day after launching her own website.

Lana misses wrestling her best buddy Naomi in WWE

While these social media-based activities will continue for her, it’s certain that she misses being away from the squared circle. Lana has recently taken to social media to address her absence from the professional wrestling world. She admitted that she misses the business with the following comment,

“I miss wrestling. There is nothing like it in the entire world.”

In another separate post, Lana shared a picture from her heyday in completion that was on Smackdown in 2017 where she was having a match against Naomi, Charlotte Flair, and Becky Lynch. It appears that Naomi has been her best buddy whom she misses wrestling,

“Miss wrestling my best friend @NaomiWWE !!!!!!”

At present, Naomi is suspended from WWE after she and Sasha Banks walked out during an episode of WWE Raw in May where they were supposed to feature in the main event. Rumors suggested that the situation between these two superstars and WWE hasn’t improved, since then.

As for Lana, she hasn’t signed any deal for any of the wrestling promotions since her WWE career came to an end in June of 2021 alongside the likes of Braun Strowman and Aleister Black. Despite the release, the former Ravishing Russian received praise for her work ethic which proves that she’s on good terms with the company.

Lana was recently scheduled for the first-ever Wrestling Entertainment Series event in Nottingham, England to face her old WWE rival, Nia Jax. The encounter to crown the inaugural WES Women’s Champion has since been scrapped.
