The idea of competing in a WWE ring is fascinating for any of the pro-wrestling superstars and Trish Stratus is no different. The etch of lacing up the boots can’t be removed, permanently which is the reason she found her way back to the squared circle years after years. She won’t mind doing it one more time and especially with a championship around her waist.
Trish Stratus has had a huge impact on the fans and her successors during her original stint in the WWE. The Canadian superstar had the least opportunity available to her in a male-dominated industry but she made the best out of the short quantity to burst onto the scene and prove herself to be a benchmark athlete.

Debuting as a valet for Test and Prince Albert in 2000, she went on to become the women’s championship in 2001. Trish Stratus’ feud with Lita was a key perspective in women’s wrestling after which fans started to believe that the female superstars are also capable of doing something. Another program against Mickie James solidified her status as a WWE legend. She wouldn’t mind coming back and facing a couple of top superstars from the current roster.

Trish Stratus wants perfect opponent for a WWE return
Every time a surprise appearance by a female superstar is teased, Trish Stratus is brought up. She does come back for a few of these occasions but only to have one-off runs. The seven-time WWE Women’s Champion accomplished a lot in her career but she would be open to another title run if the opponent is right.
At a recent Highspots virtual signing event, Trish Straus was asked if she’d be ready if WWE considers her for one more title run. Her response was quick and short, “Hell yeah. The timing? Maybe it was if the opponent was perfect.”
Her greatest rival, Lita, recently returned to WWE and was immediately placed in a Raw Women’s Championship match with Becky Lynch at Elimination Chamber 2022. Trish Stratus could be booked in the same way under the correct circumstances given that the superstar is ready to be back.
The Canadian pro-wrestler retired as an active full-time performer in 2006 and she was then inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame by Stephanie McMahon in 2013. Her final full-length match took place at Summerslam 2019 against Charlotte Flair.
