WWE News: Big Match Announced for Next Episode of Smackdown Live

Arindam Paul / 12 December 2017

The Clash of Champions PPV is just a week away to be hosted by the Smackdown Live brand. So, the upcoming edition of the show will be the go home edition for the annual event that is scheduled to take place at the TD Gardens Arena in Boston, Massachusetts.

We are going to see a massive buildup to the final PPV of the year 2017, quite expectedly.

The WWE Championship match was previously supposed to take place in the main event capacity until a huge tag team match got announced on last week’s Smackdown. Shane McMahon confirmed that Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn would be able to perform on the upcoming PPV after not getting featured on the Survivor Series match card.

They will team up in a match against the team of Randy Orton and a partner of his own choice. Later, the night the mystery partner turned out to be none other than Shinsuke Nakamura. Letting his personal feelings go out-of-hand, Shane also appointed himself as the special guest referee with both Zayn and Owens’ career being on the line.

The prizefighter was quite upset about getting to face Randy Orton, last week. Also, Zayn was forced to compete against the same opponent creating frustrations. Apparently, their punishment is yet to over, as the former Universal Champion is now scheduled to face off Shinsuke Nakamura in a singles match on this upcoming edition.

It is going to take the storyline to the most extreme level before heading into the match at Clash of Champions. Also, we can expect a chaos to break out with all the four men involved in the PPV match. Check out the announcement made on WWE.com,

“The fate of Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn will be decided during a tag team battle against Randy Orton and Shinsuke Nakamura at WWE Clash of Champions, as the troublesome duo’s careers in all of WWE will be on the line. But before the huge showdown in Boston, KO will have to step inside the squared circle with The King of Strong Style on this Tuesday’s edition of SmackDown LIVE, with Zayn and Orton in their partner’s respective corners.”
