A high-octane WWE MSG live event took place, this past Saturday night with two huge championship defenses on the card. Both the WWE Championship and Universal Championship were on the line on that night. But the headliner segment appeared to be a brawl between the two Wrestlemania 38 main eventers – Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns.
The WWE Live Event results from the Madison Square Garden arena have already been published where the main event of the show saw Lesnar successfully defend his WWE Title against the up and rising superstar Austin Theory.
Once that match concluded at WWE MSG, Lesnar was attacked by Roman. Brock took out Roman and The Bloodline members on his own but then at the end, Paul Heyman’s distraction turned out to be a fatal one. Lesnar had Paul Heyman cornered at the turnbuckle when Roman hit Brock in the back with a steel chair. Multiple chair shots followed Lesnar’s back and the attack was concluded with a slam on the steel steps from Roman.

Roman also used the chair and the steel ring steps to cover up Lesnar with blood, plus a Rock Bottom finisher on the steps. WWE MSG live event concluded with Reigns standing over Lesnar while holding the WWE and Universal title belts over his head to give us a probable preview of Wrestlemania 38.
Now, on the official YouTube channel of the WWE, footage from WWE MSG is available which indicates that the company is most likely to use the set of incidents in their storyline to escalate the feud between Reigns and Lesnar. The latter name will be there on this week’s Smackdown to possibly seek redemption against Reigns and Co.
