Asuka celebrated her 38th birthday yesterday with the pro-wrestling community showering her with wishes. One of those came from an unlikely source. Adult website Brazzers sent out a tweet trying to impress the birthday girl mentioning they are ready for Asuka. This is a catchphrase that the former Smackdown women’s champion uses in her gimmick.

The wishing tweet from Brazzers earned decent likes with one of them coming from Asuka, herself. It was pretty amazing to see the Empress of Tomorrow responding to the tweet positively. In a global company that she works for, this does not suit well. WWE has moved over from the non-PG contents, anyway. Perhaps, she is not aware of which business Brazzers is into.
Happy birthday @WWEAsuka WE’RE READY ?

But the activity has garnered attention among the pro-wrestling fans who are wondering whether it was an offer from Brazzers to Asuka. Even more, was the longest-reigning NXT women’s champion interested in the offer? She is no stranger in revealing photoshoots in her early career, after all. Well, we can only speculate things since nobody may come up with a statement on this issue.
Meanwhile, Asuka will look forward to raising her status on Smackdown as the show moves into FOX. WWE has not used her well ever since her entry on the main roster. She barely received the spotlight for the past couple of years. At 2018 TLC pay-per-view, she did win the women’s championship, but that will remain as a one-off accolade in her career. Since then, she struggled to get TV time, regularly.
As of now, WWE has formed a tag team featuring her and the newest NXT import Kairi Sane. The furious team has all the tools to what it takes to become the women’s tag team champions. But to date, they have not been in full gear, to say the least. Asuka and Sane competed on this week’s Smackdown to pick up a win over the team of Sonya Deville and Mandy Rose. Hopefully, they can keep up the momentums to earn a future title shot.
