Dean Ambrose leaving WWE has become one of the most confusing situations in the company’s history. There’s no way to understand whether it’s a real deal or the company is trying to fool out the fans. The announcement of the former WWE Champion leaving came just after Royal Rumble. Since then, speculations are running all over the pro-wrestling industry.
Breaking: Roman Reigns vs. Dean Ambrose happening at Wrestlemania?
Why WWE publicly announced Ambrose’s departure?
WWE still trying to stop Ambrose from leaving
Initially, the reports claimed that it was legit news. Dean Ambrose was not happy with his position on the WWE Raw roster. Also, WWE made him ‘job’ to other superstars confirming the fact that he is leaving. But the scenario has changed, right now with the return of Roman Reigns. The Shield is now back together which might allow their buddy to re-consider his decision.
Will Renee Young leave with Dean Ambrose?
Bryan Alvarez noted this on Wrestling Observer saying that Dean Ambrose is set to renew his contract. Thereby, he would definitely extend his stay on the company. Even the backstage reports suggested this positive indication about Ambrose. Locker room members are confident that the fellow star will not leave.
But another veteran wrestling journalist has opposed this idea pitched by Bryan. He seemed intact with the earlier reports that claim that The Lunatic Fringe will not extend his WWE contract, anyway. Roman Reigns was able to bring the band back together but he is not likely to prevent his brother from going away.
Previously, WWE’s franchise player had to offer to the following regarding the Lunatic Fringe,
“I have no clue what’s going on with him. I don’t know if he is coming and going, to what he’s doing. All I know is that he’s making headlines and I know I want one more moment with my brothers before we may not be around anymore.”
The interesting part is that WWE introduced this contract-based storyline into the programming once Roman Reigns returned. They are promoting that this is the final time we will see The Shield together in a match. Going by this theory, the future seems true. But we never know whether this is just a ‘work’ to make us believe in something else.
The Shield reunion might have happened only to make Dean Ambrose happy and relevant on the WWE Raw roster. Currently, the three Hounds of Justice is out to take care of three heels from the Raw roster i.e. Baron Corbin, Bobby Lashley, and Drew McIntyre at Fastlane. The outcome of this match, as well as Wrestlemania booking, will be able to give some clear update on the concerned superstar’s future.
