It has become a tradition to receive spectacular editions of NXT Takeover before each of the ‘big four’ WWE PPVs. There will be another one in-store at the upcoming Royal Rumble weekend, as well. It is being named as the NXT Takeover: Philadelphia and will witness the main event championship match.

The reigning NXT Champion, Andrade Cien Almas will defend his championship for the very first time against Johny Gargano. It will be the very first time that the talented Gargano will get a shot to the title. Apart from this match, there will be a certain number of matches in store on the show.

WrestllingINC.com has revealed one of them in recent times. According to the source, the leader of the Undisputed Era, Adam Cole will take on the hard-hitting superstar, Aleister Black. The latter one had already delivered some classic singles matches in his short NXT career earning the reputation of a respected competitor. With a veteran like Cole being his opponent, this should be a blockbuster match.

Speculations do say that Adam Cole vs Aleister Black will be a marquee attraction of the night. The storyline perspective has already been started to culminate this contest. Black lost the last and final match of the contest determining the contender for the NXT Championship. His loss did not come cleanly.

Instead, the Undisputed Era interrupted to provide the disqualification which forced Black to suffer the pinfall loss. Before this, Black defeated Adam Cole to make his way to this contender tournament’ hence, it is expected that the superstar concerned will target Cole and take him out causing in the must-see match.

The speculations suggest that it’s just a matter of time that Aleister Black makes his way to the main roster of the WWE. It might happen just after Royal Rumble PPV gets over. Hence, this could certainly be a farewell match for him on NXT.
