The superstar shakeup is returning on the upcoming episode of WWE Raw and Smackdown Live.

The superstar shakeup is returning on the upcoming episode of WWE Raw and Smackdown Live.

This is an edited version of the WWE Draft that was a mind-boggling concept from the creative team. The rosters available on both the brand get changed during this process which revamps things, entirely. Furthermore, it generates a lot of fresh feuds, going forward.

Last year, Vince McMahon announced that instead of the Draft, WWE will be hosting the Superstar Shakeup for the first time. Apparently, the Boss was not much happy with the name, The Draft. So, he wanted to give a major makeover to it and introduced this concept. With that being said, the anticipation is much higher from this process, this year, too.

Starting on April 16th, some superstars will end up getting on the Smackdown brand. One of them and perhaps the biggest name on the female division of the WWE will get traded if a recent report is to be believed.

According to the reports of wrestlingINC.com, Asuka will belong to the blue brand of the WWE starting from the next week.

She is being advertised for the Smackdown-exclusive house shows in the near future which might be a confirmed indication of this major shift. Apart from this name, some other names from the Smackdown brand have also been revealed by the source,

“The Empress of Tomorrow is currently being advertised for the Sunday, June 10th blue brand live event from Tupelo, Mississippi at the BancorpSouth Arena. Others advertised for the event are The Usos, Bobby Roode, Randy Orton, Becky Lynch, SmackDown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair and a Triple Threat main event with Baron Corbin vs. Shinsuke Nakamura vs. WWE Champion AJ Styles.”

Asuka lost her undefeated streak at Wrestlemania 34 at the hands of Charlotte Flair. Since then we have not heard or seen from her on TV taping. If this report is to go by then, she might resurface during the Smackdown episode on April 17th where the superstar shakeup process will conclude.

If Charlotte Flair continues to stay under the Smackdown Live brand, then another match against Asuka is evident to take place, at one point. But, if The Queen gets traded to WWE Raw, in turn, then Asuka will be treated, as the prime name on the Smackdown women’s division and will take the least time to capture the championship from Carmella.
