Braun Strowman is the force that WWE wanted us to reckon. He was given a tremendous push following the Wrestlemania season. Despite his heel persona, he was quite over with the fans and hence the main event spotlight was reserved for him.
His feud with Roman Reigns earned him the reputation that he needed. He has numerous brawls with the Big Dog that was the most physical, to say the least. In recent times, Strowman is the only one to pin the franchise of Raw, clean in a singles contest. That too came after his monumental win at Wrestlemania against The Undertaker.
Now, quite expectedly, he was going after Brock Lesnar to claim the Universal Championship from him. These two was supposed to main event the Great Balls of Fire PPV. However, that plan was abruptly called off after The Mountain Among Men suffered a shoulder injury and forced to undergo a surgery.
As per WWE’s updates, he was supposed to be out of action for almost six months. It was done from a storyline perspective so that his early return can be hyped up. So, as expected he is recovering quickly and might return to settle the score with Reigns, sooner than later.
However, as per PWInsider.com, he has been cleared by the doctors to make a return to in-ring action. The source clarified that the insider scoop is a hint of the inevitable early return to WWE TV to surprise the fans in the near future.
The exact date was not disclosed in the report. However, he might be back once the Great Balls of Fire PPV is done. The storylines for the event has been started, already. So, there are fewer chances that he will show up on Raw without any angle present.
The house shows of the WWE are also advertising him to appear from the month of July which is clear indication that WWE pitching his hiatus of six weeks was nothing but a ‘work’. The monstrous heel is set to resume from where he left off. He will settle the scores with Roman Reigns whereas a match against Brock Lesnar is also on the cards.
