Charlotte Flair is the current Women’s Champion on the Smackdown Live brand. After getting shifted from the flagship show, she was able to pick up the title for the first time just a week before the Survivor Series PPV. Her bitter-rival from entire WWE career, Natalya was defeated in a classic matchup by The Queen who became a five-time women’s champion by this win.
Being the prime female name in the WWE today, it is expected that Charlotte will continue to be the champion so that she can deliver a title match at Wrestlemania 34. It brings us to the question about her potential challenger at the show that might get determined in the Royal Rumble match. Stephanie McMahon confirmed the first-ever Rumble match for women’s to be hosted on January 28th.
In a recent interview with Planeta Wrestling, the genetically superior athlete expressed her disgust for not being able to be a part of this historic match. Being the champion does not allow her to enter the match and she will get excluded from the thrilling experience.
Meanwhile, 30 women will fill up the ring to determine one spot who will get the chance to choose the championship match at Wrestlemania. Since the main roster does not consist that much number of women on the locker room, it is evident that some of the former superstars, as well as NXT names, will be making their return to enter the match and try their luck.

“I definitely am a huge fan of the Australians Peyton Royce and Billie Kay, I think they would be a great edition to the Royal Rumble match. I think Bianca Belair is an amazing, incredible athlete. I think her presence alone when shed enter the royal rumble, would be amazing. Kairi Sane is another.
And I know everyone’s rumours saying Shayna Baszler is a possibility. I know she’s one. I think all of those women would be great contestants. But again, anyone in NXT would do an incredible job, and I’d like to see anyone step up and be part of the first-ever women’s Royal Rumble match.”
As for now, WWE has been advertising Nikki & Brie Bella aka The Bella Twins for the match, as well. It hints that the much-anticipated return of the duo might take place at the first dual-brand PPV event of the year as another surprise.
