In a surprising turn of events, WWE’s most dependable name from the women’s division did not get a title match at Summerslam. Charlotte Flair is the concerned superstar who might have lost her chance on last night’s Smackdown after coming up short against Ember Moon. But that won’t be stopping from going into the biggest event of the summer. As per her claim, an elite name will be waiting for her on August 11th.

Charlotte Flair featured in a match on Smackdown against Ember Moon. She started with a big clothesline when Bayley made her entrance to provide a distraction. Moon rolled her up to pick up the win in just a few seconds. Moon also delivered an Eclipse to Charlotte and Bayley before leaving the ring. Flair could not believe that she lost and hence announced that she will bring a better quality opponent for her at Summerslam. With that being said, the anticipation begins which opponent would WWE offer to The Queen.

WWE almost confirmed the women’s division title match from Smackdown Live, last week. It was Ember Moon who received the biggest opportunity of her WWE career thus far. SmackDown Women’s Champion Bayley challenged her to a title match at Summerslam. She gladly accepted to grab the opportunity to go performing in the biggest event of the summer.

However, there were assumptions that there’s must be a catch in this planning. In general, WWE reserves the biggest names of the roster for such big-feel PPV events like Summerslam. So, Charlotte Flair soon received a singles match against Moon on Smackdown,

“The Shenom will have no time to rest on her laurels, as she now has to prepare to challenge The Queen. Moon will look to make a definitive statement by besting Charlotte Flair, the most decorated Superstar in the Women’s division. Will The War Goddess pick up invaluable momentum as SummerSlam approaches or will The Queen stay Queen and knock Ember down a significant notch?”

This match was a rumored setup to let Charlotte Flair perform on Summerslam since she is the biggest name of the women’s division.
