WWE News: Huge Update On Roman Reigns Missing Next Episode Of WWE Raw

Roman Reigns has suffered a beatdown on WWE Raw in the hands of Drew McIntyre. We have not heard or seen him ever since then which could be an indication of a short hiatus from the WWE programming. Major updates have also surfaced via the internet and future booking that also hints that the poster boy of the company may not appear on the next edition of the flagship show.

WWE can change Universal title match for Wrestlemania 35

Roman to change his character on TV

Why did the beatdown happen on Roman Reigns on Raw?

Next week’s edition of WWE Raw will air from the All-State Arena in Chicago, Illinois. The host venue always advertises the superstars alongside some matches to appear on the show to sell out the tickets. Roman Reigns was part of all those ads until now when the venue has removed him.

WWE can change Universal title match for Wrestlemania 35

It came as a major surprise where the main attraction of WWE Raw will not be present on the show. WrestlingINC.com reported about his recent removal from advertisements. Followed to that, WWE’s official website has also excluded him from the list of superstars that will appear in Chicago.

Previously, the All-State Arena was advertising a dark main event match where The Shield would team-up again. Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins would feature in a tag team rematch from Fastlane pay-per-view against Drew McIntyre, Baron Corbin, and Bobby Lashley. But this lineup has also been altered, accordingly, (via SportsKeeda.com)

“The Allstate Arena currently has a tag team match announced with Rollins and Ambrose against Corbin and McIntyre and another Intercontinental Championship match between Finn Balor and Lashley, but plans may change.”

As reported here, the local ads often go through changes. So this match might get changed on the night itself.

Whatever the case may be, WWE Universe would still wonder of Roman Reigns remains absent from WWE Raw in Chicago. He has just returned on the show two weeks ago and well on his route to Wrestlemania. Keeping him off within this timespan does not look fitting enough. This might be due to WWE’s intention to give a short time off.

The Big Dog has come back overcoming a Leukemia situation. Upcoming Wrestlemania 35 might have preponed his comeback as the WWE officials needed it, desperately. That might not mean that he is ready to go through the usually rigorous schedule of WWE. This is why he is not appearing on WWE Raw house shows either.
