WWE fans must be happy to hear that the high-flying John Morrison is coming back to the company. After a long wait and several rumors, it is almost certain that the exciting superstar will soon be on TV. According to PWInsider.com, he has signed a deal to return to WWE. He last worked for WWE back in 2011 and has gone on to work for many promotions, thereafter namely Lucha Underground and Impact Wrestling.

Although John Morrison has never been a world champion in his career, his accolades are quite lengthy. He has quite an illustrious run in the mid-card level who ended up having multiple championship runs. You may have a look at his career accomplishments in the WWE,

John Morrison was able to capture the world title in Impact Wrestling, last year under the name of Johnny Impact. His contract came to an end, earlier this year making him one of the hottest free agents of the pro-wrestling circle. There has been a reported tug of war between AEW and WWE over the charismatic superstar. In the end, the biggest promotion in pro-wrestling was able to bring him back for one last time, perhaps. The company has not made any official announcement regarding the signing. But he should be back on TV in the near future.

John Morrison rose to the fame by winning the third season of WWE’s Tough Enough competition show. Upon arriving on the main roster, he teamed up with Joey Mercury to form a tag team and win the tag title, thereafter with Melina playing a valet. Sooner, he entered a relationship with the former Women’s Champion. Batista was also reportedly attracted to Melina that created a rift with Morrison.

But that did not put a question mark on the career of John Morrison as he found a new tag team partner in The Miz. Thereafter, the mid-card title picture became a constant place for him. Back in 2011, he competed in the main event of Extreme Rules PPV for the WWE Championship which ended in a losing effort. After this, he decided to leave the company as his deal expired.
