WWE News: Kane Makes Rare WWE Live Event Appearance As Knoxville Mayor 1

The Devil’s Favorite Demon character of Kane has almost become extinct in the WWE. It is an iconic character played by Glen Jacobs for over a decade. Last year this man became the Mayor of Knoxville, Tennessee. In today’s world of social media, it’s hard to cover up the real identity of ones. Especially for Jacobs who is now the first citizen of the Knox County and has immense responsibility for the territory.

Kane net worth and salary

It looks like Kane does not shy away to reveal his true identity in public, anymore. Last night he made the rarest appearance where we saw him without his mask i.e. his in-ring demon persona. He made his presence felt simply as the Mayor of the Knoxville County and addressed the audience. His noble cause towards the citizens continued as a donated a big fat check to the improvement of the society.

WWE Live headed to Knoxville County in Tennessee before hosting tonight’s episode of WWE Raw in the same state. The Big Red Machine made a surprise appearance on the show but he was not in his character. He donated $100000 in check to the Knoxville Public Safety Foundation. He addressed the WWE Universe for a bit with the mic. Later, on Twitter, the veteran claimed that this moment was the “proudest in a WWE ring.”

Kane has been doing an incredible job as a politician as well as featuring in WWE competitions. In an appearance on Chris Jericho’s podcast, he answered whether he would have to hang up the boots after becoming the Mayor. These were his comments,

“No, I can’t. Mayor is a full-time job and I would direct all my attention to that.”

We also believed that we may not see Kane competing in a WWE ring after becoming the Knoxville Mayor. But he surprised us on several occasions by making sporadic appearances. In fact, he competed in the Universal Championship match at last year’s Royal Rumble event. Later he reformed Team Hell No at WWE Extreme Rules. Finally, the Brothers of Destruction reunited at WWE Crown Jewel in a dream match against D-Generation X. Speaking of the show, we should mention that this $100000 charity donation was a big reason why Kane participated in the Saudi Arabia show.
