WrestlingINC.com provided latest updates on Kofi Kingston saying that WWE officials are really hopeful about his Extreme Rules appearance. He is dealing with a back issue and hence WWE gave him off on both Raw and Smackdown. This would allow to heal him up within the huge match set for the July 14th event. The champion himself believes that he will get ready for the next title defense.

Kofi Kingston cut a promo at the WWE live event in Binghamton, New York on Monday towards the WWE Universe confirming that he was dealing with back pain. But that won’t stop him from competing in the title match. There was a speculation whether WWE adds a ladder match stipulation into the match.
