On the basis of previously reported news that Kurt Angle is keen to make one last appearance in WWE, it is now hereby let known that the former Olympic Gold Medalist will not be seen inside WWE’s squared circle, anytime soon. The rumors were spread like fire after Kurt Angle himself commented about the likelihood of his return when he was asked on Mark Madden’s radio show by saying, “Will I return, Yes. I don’t know, when.”
Angle even said that he had a sit down with both Vince McMahon and Triple H recently where the inevitable topic concerning his return for one last match in WWE has arisen but it seemed it was just the talks and no fruition came, whatsoever.
Now, allwrestlingnews.com reports the same by saying that WWE officials have confirmed to Dave Meltzer, the veteran wrestling journalist by saying that Kurt Angle is not returning to WWE, anytime soon even though Kurt Angle was keen to return to WWE on a part-time basis. He even showed interest to work with some NXT rookies to form “team Angle” as the team would allow him to wrestle again with a suitable storyline and he will be available on the pay-per-views only. He even had the intention to have a match with Daniel Bryan if possible.
Kurt Angle left the WWE in the year 2006. He later revealed that he was struggling with a number of injuries and the required nagging time was not given to him. Apparently, Vince McMahon still has the same issue for the five-time Grand Slam champion regarding the return issue. It is known to all that Angle is an injury prone wrestler and at his age, it is the biggest constraint that would bar him from a dramatic return to WWE. Vince McMahon would be least interested to see him getting a concussion sooner or later after landing in the company.
