WWE News: Mauro Ranallo Is Back In The Company After The ‘Bullying’ Controversy

It was expected that Mauro Ranallo might not be back in the WWE after the heated controversy from earlier in the year. The conflict between Mauro and the legendary JBL could be seen on every Tuesday Night on live television. Both were part of the Smackdown Live commentary team but never really got along.

In almost all the conversation that these two had, JBL used to bully him taking a jab towards him. Now, this was not part of a WWE storyline. So, by any means, this was not tolerable, at all. It’s a fact that JBL plays a negative role on live television for a long time while Mauro was considered to be the face of the blue brand’s commentary team, for quite a long time.

But this type of actions was not acceptable and Mauro was forced to take a break from television without any prior notice. He stated that he is suffering from a mental illness which was an indication that he suffering from the ‘bullying’ of JBL, every week on and off-screen.

The incident has become so viral that even mainstream media started to cover it. Plus, it made a bad reputation for a global company like WWE. In addition, WWE is a proud partner when it comes to anti-bullying campaigns in the United States of America. So, we did expect them to take some actions, for sure.

Mauro never returned to the WWE, following that an announced that he is heading back to the MMA industry. However, his contract with the WWE is due till the month of August and so he will be back on live television as part of NXT.
The popular face among the pro-wrestling and MMA universe will have a short stint as a commentator in the developmental territory of the WWE. He shared a post on his Instagram account informing the fans that he will return for NXT tapings in near future.

Although he did not mention the exact commencing date of his upcoming short stint, it should happen sooner than later. He only has just a couple of months in his WWE tenure and the company should not want it to waste, for sure.
