Whoever says that pro-wrestling is fake, needs to rethink it, once more. If you look at the famous names of this industry, almost every one of them has to undergo several surgeries at one point during their career or aftermath to get the bruises fixed.
The WWE heroes put their body on the line every single night for our entertainment, in each of the shows. The high-risk offenses need a lot of efforts to be mastered. But, being a risky sport, bodies got battered and to fix the problems, the superstars need to go under the knives. The same happened twice this year with the pro-wrestling legend, Mick Foley.
He is one of those particular superstars in the WWE who did not dare to go over the limit while competing in his matches. During his prime, he gifted us with some infamous Hell in a Cell and hardcore moments that earned him the reputation on hardcore wrestling. But, at the same time, his body is suffering the repercussions, at this point.

Earlier this year, Mick Foley was suffering from a hip injury that needed surgery. It was the sole reason why he was forced to leave his job as the Raw general manager. As per the storyline angle, we have seen him leaving the show after getting fired by Stephanie McMahon.

Now, on this past Monday, the hardcore legend underwent a knee surgery. As per the updates from WWE.com,
“Mick Foley provided a post-surgery update, revealing the procedure was a success and thanking the WWE Universe for their well-wishes.”
Before the operation, the WWE Hall of Famer was seen smiling as always which shows his tremendous resiliency. We hope that he gets better in the upcoming days, as early as possible.
Although this type of surgeries takes quite sometimes to heal up, he is expected to be back in the WWE shortly.
