It’s a piece of good news from WWE perspective that they have been able to retain two superstars who were on the verge to leave the company. Maria herself had some tweets posted hinting that they may not be re-signing with the company.

There is no confirmation available for how long the contract will be intact. But currently, WWE is offering five-year deals to the talents in order to protect them from AEW. So it’s evident that they must have decided to keep Mike and Maria Kanellis around for a long timespan. After all, these two names can be beneficiary to WWE programming if rightly utilized.

Especially, Maria Kanellis was around WWE for the better part of the last decade. She became one of the integral parts of the Divas roster and won Slammy Awards for her character, too. Plus, she was the last WWE female star to be the cover girl of Playboy Magazine before the company turned PG. So there’s a huge fanbase for Maria whom the fans consider as one of the most beautiful-cum-talented WWE Divas of all-time.

Earlier at the beginning of 2019, reports were available that Mike and Maria Kanellis were looking forward to leaving in order to join All Elite Wrestling. It was during the same time when The Revival may have also asked their release from the WWE. All four of them were reportedly unhappy with the creative differences in the company.

We hope WWE has been able to sort out the differences by coming up with a lucrative offer to Mike and Maria Kanellis. They are likely to get a big role on the current 205-Live roster, as well. These two are on a hunt for a new general manager of the show for quite sometimes. Rumors suggest that may be Maria should get the role in due course that will also allow her husband to get a big push in times ahead.
