The Wrestlemania rivalry between Cena-Nikki Bella and The Miz-Maryse took a new turn after a facebook post went viral. The Hollywood IT couple was the heels in this feud but if the revealed news is to be believed then the audience is certainly going to back them up at the biggest stage of them all.
Maryse said it on a number of occasions that Nikki Bella and her twin sister, Brie barred her from returning to the company for multiple times. A Facebook post from 434.com suggested the truth behind the incident that took place almost three and a half years ago.
During mid-2013, WWE launched the Total Divas show. Due to its filming, the company needed some more glam dolls back in the Divas section. But, the Bella Twins who were the biggest names on the show did not want that to happen.
Hence, they insisted Maryse not to sing a new WWE contract. They further blocked two more names from doing so and those are of Maria Kanellis and Kelly Kelly. The posted picture on Facebook mentioned a twitter post from Maria where she clearly stated that the Bellas had barred her from returning alongside two more names.
The former Playboy magazine cover also commented the following to expose Nikki Bella in front of the world:
“They called me, I was busy. I sent her a text back. I said there’s nothing really to talk about. I know what the story is and God bless you for it. I hope everything works out. There’s no real reason to talk to her. She’s not worth my time.
“She took something from me and it wasn’t a man, or it wasn’t a piece of candy, it was a contract. It’s my career and I think for me, that’s probably the worst thing you can do, is a mess with my money. I’m not going anywhere. I’m in wrestling. I’m staying in wrestling and I’m sure our paths will cross again.”
There’s no denying that using the fame of the Total Divas reality TV series, Nikki Bella has become the longest reigning Divas champion in the history of the company. With these truths coming out now, it will be interesting to see if the crowd still cheers her as a babyface or not.
