WWE news: Nikki Bella to win the first-ever Smackdown Women’s championship

Nikki Bella is the most accomplished athlete in the Women’s division right now and nobody can deny her star power. So WWE has already decided who they are going to make the first-ever Smackdown Women’s championship. They decided to make the title more prestigious by giving it to the longest reigning Divas champion in the history of the WWE.
Nikki Bella, Becky Lynch, Natalya, Carmella, Alexa Bliss and Naomi will feature in a six-pack challenge to determine the first-ever Smackdown Women’s champion. During the time of the WWE Draft, it was thought that Smackdown was just outsmarted by Raw in the Women’s division since they had the champion Charlotte, Sasha banks, Paige, Nia Jax and more. But, it looks like they peaked up at the right time and now with Nikki Bella returning to Smackdown, the women’s roster looks stronger than ever.
According to the reports from cagesideseats.com, Nikki Bella is walking out with the championship at Backlash. However, she is not going to keep her hold on the title for longer. As per the initial planning, she is going to drop it to someone else just after winning it. Becky Lynch is the next choice since the audience had a strong backup for her.

Eva Marie came up with a lot of tantrums during her matches over the last month. Hence, WWE was supposed to crown her with the new championship, since she was the center of attraction. But, she is sidelined after a 30-days-suspension from the company for violating the company’s Wellness Policy, that plan got nixed.
Nikki Bella was supposed to work as a heel since she teamed up with the heel team of Natalya and Alexa Bliss at Summerslam. But, for the last few weeks, we have seen her getting attacked by Carmella for a number of occasions which means she will keep working as a face. However, if WWE makes her the Smackdown Women’s champion, she needs a lot stronger booking, just like her glorified championship days.
