WWE News: Reason Why Finn Balor Has Not Returned On Live Television

We are just days away from WWE’s biggest extravaganza of the year known as Wrestlemania. The card is almost finalized for the event. Almost all of the top brass superstars from both Raw and Smackdown are set to get big marquee matches on that night. However, one name is notably missing from it and that is of Finn Balor.

The Demon King has made his surprise return during an NXT taping. Shinsuke Nakamura was handed a brutal assault courtesy the reigning NXT champion, Bobby Roode. Balor came down to the ring to save Nakamura. It was for the very first time when he was seen performing his moves inside a ring upon his surgery.

After this, he has made his presence in WWE Live events by teaming up with Sami Zayn and Chris Jericho to take on the team of Kevin Owens, Samoa Joe and Triple H. The same matchup took place on back-to-back nights in Buffalo and Toronto. This was a huge indication of him returning to live television, as well.

But quite surprisingly, he was still not brought to live television on Raw. Even WWE acknowledged the fact of his appearance on house shows going in contrast to their tradition. But, there’s a big reason as of why Balor is still waiting to make his official return.

According to Pro Wrestling Unlimited, Seth Rollins injury is the reason behind it. Apparently, the plan was to reincarnate Finn Balor vs. Samoa Joe rivalry in the main roster. Rollins would take on Triple H, on the other hand. But, Rollins, Wrestlemania status is still unclear.

So, if by any means, the Architect cannot perform at Wrestlemania, Balor would be his replacement. The medical team of the WWE is going tooth-and-nail so that Rollins can be 100 percent in time for the biggest match of his career. As for Balor goes, he might not be seen performing at Mania and would return the very next night.
