The fans and even the critics can watch his beatdowns to the heel superstars all day long. Braun Strowman executes this in an entertaining way like no one else. You surely remember his feud against Elias. Some of the fans named it the most exciting rivalry of this time.
The fans were so much ‘over’ with his character during this period. The huge popularity was the man reason why he won the Greatest Royal Rumble match in Saudi Arabia. It was the only 50-superstar Rumble Match in WWE history. Several WWE legends performed in it. But, in the end, it was Braun Strowman who earned the victory.
We thought a championship shot would be in-store for this man. But, that was not the case. He teamed up with Bobby Lashley at Backlash to take on against Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn. After getting success in this match, he got booked in the MITB ladder match. The annual tradition in the WWE is coming back on June 17th in Chicago.
Recent reports from the Dirty Sheets are suggesting that Braun Strowman was indeed heading to the main event picture. But the officials scrapped the big-time planning involving him. The initial plan was that the monster among men would be the MITB ladder match winner in 2018.
He would have cashed in the earned briefcase on the same night on Brock Lesnar. This would have made him the new Universal Champion on WWE Raw by the end of the night. But the mouth-watering planning had to change. The Conqueror was not available to perform in this PPV event.
He stated option was a valid option for the creative team to take the title away from Brock Lesnar. Braun Strowman is the absolute best option for dethroning him from his title reign. It will be interesting to see whether he remains available for a title shot in the near future.
