WWE started a new storyline featuring Rey Mysterio on this past edition of Monday Night Raw. He has lost back to back matches on the show with the latest being a clean-sweep loss to Andrade in a 2 out of 3 Falls contest. An emotional Rey was at a loss for words while being in an interview asked after the match at backstage. He kept on referring that he has a family to support indicating that this might be a way to bring back his son again on WWE TV in the near future.

Which WWE Superstar Could Win 2019 King Of The Ring Tournament?
As carried in a report by wrestlingINC.com, this might be a scripted thing to ensure that Dominick returns to TV, shortly. Wrestling Observer Newsletter is the original source of the news saying that the backstage feeling is that the 21-year-old boy is not ready for in-ring action on a stage like WWE. But they hope he will be ready by 2020. So from now onwards, he might be gearing up for a big in-ring debut under the officiation of Rey Mysterio.
The Master of 619 previously noted that Dominick was getting ready to become a future pro-wrestler. He had a stint under wrestling veteran Lance Storm at his wrestling school in Canada which is no more present, as of now.

We have seen Rey Mysterio’s son Dominick started appearing on WWE Raw at the beginning of this year. The legendary superstar himself was very confident about his son replacing him in the future as this is the last stint he could be having in the WWE. Consecutively, WWE started a storyline featuring the father-son duo that could have marked the debut of the young superstar in a match. But a sudden injury threw all the plans out of the window.
Rey Mysterio suffered a dislocated shoulder back at Money in the Bank pay-per-view event. It was the same night that Samoa Joe assaulted him for losing the title which caused the injury. All of the supposed plans sketched by the creative team had to come to a halt, abruptly. Now that WWE has started a new angle on WWE Raw, we hope that it would be to bring back to Dominick to the scene and prepare him for the big leagues.
