WWE Creative Head Road Dogg Comments On The Future Of Smackdown Live

If anyone can claim credit for the reinvention of the Smackdown Live brand, it’s the WWE legend, Road Dogg aka Brian James. He is better known for his iconic tag team formation alongside his partner, Billy Gunn. But, a very few might know that he is also the creative head for the Tuesday Night’s show, as well.
In fact, Vince McMahon does not visit Smackdown on a regular basis. Hence, the gorilla position is handled by the six-time world tag team champion, himself. Ever since the re-birth of the blue brand back at the WWE Draft in 2016, he is in-charge of the show and we could not agree more that it has been a better show while compared to Raw.
This week on Smackdown Live, we have witnessed another unusual booking in which the five women from the brand squared off for the second Money in the Bank ladder match. It was for the first time that a ladder match for the prestigious briefcase was contested on a Smackdown rather than a PPV. The move was praised by the WWE Universe and earned quite an attention, as well.
Couldn’t be more proud of the entire #SDLive roster but tonight was all about the women! Great job tonight ladies! The bar has risen! #OUDK

Road Dogg opened up on Twitter about the main event segment stating that how much proud she is with the female performers of Smackdown Live. He praised the entire roster of the blue brand in the post but especially mentioned the women superstars.
Understood, working on it

Landed safely in NY. Back to the lab to try to top last night, fat chance I’m thinking but we’ll give it a whirl. #SDLive #OUDK

In response, there were some fans who let him know their will to see American Alpha and Tye Dillinger more on the Tuesday Night show, every week. Road Dogg assured him that he is working on it and might come up with a solution, as quick as possible.
There are quite some issues going on in the absence of American Alpha and Tye Dillinger from Smackdown for a long time. The Perfect 10 has never got the amount of tv time, he deserved. In the case of the team of Gable and Anderson, they did return for a one-off match against Kevin Owens but there’s no surety whether they will show up regularly from now on.
