Roman Reigns has utilized his time-off from the WWE in a big way. In a post from Instagram by none other than The Rock, we got a big update on the backup career of the Big Dog. He was busy filming a movie alongside his cousin for the entire time he is away from the WWE scene. It will release in the summer of 2019 which would mark the debut movie of Roman Reigns in Hollywood. So things just can’t get bigger for the former Universal Champion.

Will Roman Reigns enter Royal Rumble 2019?

As per the updates given on the Instagram account of The Rock, it will be a spin-off of the Fast & Furious franchise named Hobbs & Shaw. He also released a couple of pictures from the set where we saw him and Roman Reigns in warrior-like roles. The film will basically deal with the character of The Rock in Fast & Furious, Luke Hobbs. Reigns will be playing his brother through the movie.

Here’s what WWE.com had to offer regarding the debut movie of Roman Reigns,

“The Rock’s “Fast and Furious” family is growing by one, and an actual family member is getting in on the action. Rock announced that none other than Roman Reigns will appear in “Hobbs & Shaw,” a spinoff of the “Fast and Furious” franchise focused on the exploits of The Great One’s government agent Luke Hobbs — a role he originated in 2011’s “Fast Five” — and the criminal Deckard Shaw, played by Jason Statham since 2013’s “Fast & Furious 6.”

Additionally, Roman Reigns also gave an update on his physical condition along with this post. He had a wonderful time filming for this movie along with The Rock. He could not think of better family time than this that came as an integral part of the healing process. It made him even stronger than ever and might just prepone his comeback to the squared circle.

The Rock has definitely prepared his cousin for a Hollywood stint by announcing a film with him. We hope Roman Reigns to carry it forward in years to follow when he will become a part-timer in the WWE. For now, we are looking forward to seeing him back in his home of WWE, sooner than later.
