WWE News: Roman Reigns vs. Drew McIntyre Officially Set For Wrestlemania 35

WWE went ahead to confirm yet another Wrestlemania match on last night’s WWE Raw. It was a pretty much guaranteed to happen ever since Drew McIntyre laid out a Wrestlemania challenge to Roman Reigns, last week. The franchise player of the company was back last night to respond to the challenge. He was quick enough to accept it and set up a marquee match for the show of shows set to emanate on April 7th.

Huge match announced for Kurt Angle, next week

The bad blood between Drew McIntyre and Roman Reigns continued to grow with the volatile actions from the heel one. He appeared first on WWE Raw from Boston bragging about the ambush delivered two weeks ago. Thereafter, he brought up the context of Roman Reigns’ family who’d have stopped him from coming back. The Big Dog has heard enough of this crap and decided to interrupt with a nice reception from the crowd.

First and foremost, he accepted the Wrestlemania challenge and warned Drew McIntyre not to run his mouth about his Samoan family, again. McIntyre dared to taunt him again leading to a brawl. Roman Reigns had the upper hand by sending McIntyre into the barricade. But he soon received a low blow from the Scottish Psychopath who followed up with a Claymore Kick. McIntyre stood tall saying that Reigns should have never come back to WWE Raw.

Drew McIntyre delivered a brutal assault on Roman Reigns a couple of weeks ago in Pittsburgh. It was going to be a special night for him as he was coming back to solo action. Just a night ago, The Shield had one last time reunion at Fastlane defeating Bobby Lashley, Baron Corbin and McIntyre, himself.

Looking forward to fighting back, Drew McIntyre chose the ambush policy from behind. He leveled Roman Reigns with a massive attack after which the Big Dog had to give up the fight. Thereafter, Dean Ambrose became his victim in a Falls Count Anywhere match. Last week, Seth Rollins’ turn came.

Despite the resistance shown by the architect, Drew McIntyre picked up the win via interference from Brock Lesnar. Prior to that match, he cut a worthy heel promo and challenge Roman Reigns in a match at Wrestlemania 35. The latter one was about to respond to the challenger on last night’s WWE Raw. He did come up with a positive expected outcome but failed to gain any sort of momentums against the Scottish Psychopath.
