The speculations of Ronda Rousey joining the WWE have been hyped up even bigger following her appearance in a WWE ring. As reported by the company, the former UFC bantamweight champion was present during the Mae Young Classic episode tapings. The matches for the competition have already been started at the Full Sail University in Orlando, Florida.

Not being a live format show, the Mae Young Classic is going to happen under the same format with that of the former WWE Network exclusive like the Cruiserweight Classic and the United Kingdom tournament. The matches from the elimination round will take place in pre-taped format and will go on air from August 28th onwards on the WWE Network.

During one of the episodes on the venue, Ronda Rousey arrived in the arena to witness the tapings as an audience. She was there to support her colleague from the UFC, Shayna Baszler who is a part of the tournament. Shayna will compete alongside 31 other superstars to become the winner of the competition.

Ronda was accompanied by the other two members of the so-called “four horsewomen” of the UFC promotion, Jessamyn Duke, and Marina Shafir. In the published footages, we can witness they are being greeted by Triple H and Natalya upon their arrival. Later, we could spot Ronda Rousey for more than a couple of occasions while the superstars were giving their introduction to the crowd. Check out the updates given on regarding the appearance following a tweet from Triple H:

“One of the more surprising competitors announced for the Mae Young Classic was mixed-martial artist Shayna Baszler, making her WWE debut as one of the 32 entrants in the historic tournament. Fittingly enough, Baszler — one of MMA’s “Four Horsewomen” — had some support: Former Women’s Bantamweight Champion Ronda Rousey, who was also a Horsewoman alongside Marina Shafir and Jessamyn Duke, was in attendance for Baszler’s debut, as revealed by Triple H on Twitter.”

The speculations of Ronda Rousey joining the WWE following this appearance have gone viral. However, this might simply be due to Ronda’s association with her UFC-mate, Shayna. She is not someone new to WWE program. She appeared on live television during Wrestlemania 31 and Summerslam 2014, previously.
