There’s no denying about Sasha Banks’ popularity among the WWE fans, globally. Almost all of the fans love to see her which once forced WWE Creative to make her a babyface despite being a bonafide heel on NXT. With the spotlights on her all the time, it’s evident that the fans would love to know more about her personal life but she has always managed to dodge it.

Recently, an exception happened when for the very first time Sasha Banks accepted of being married to someone, publicly. She appeared on the podcast hosted by former WWE announcer Lillian Garcia named “Making Their Way To The Ring”. Lillian asked about her relationship status at this juncture when she gave a positive nod to the rumor of she being married to a WWE employee and keeping it secret.

The Boss got hitched to her buddy Sarath Ton on August 14, 2016. Her husband is better known as Mikaze to the WWE fans since he pursued career an in-ring performer at a certain point. After spending some time in the WWE’s developmental territory, he quit and shifted. He later joined as a costume designer in the company. He is the man behind those glorious outfits of the Boss.

The marriage ceremony of the two was a very private affair with only a handful of people invited to it. Only a few people from the WWE were aware of it when it happened during last year’s summer. Konnor from WWE’s Ascension was the one in charge of the ceremony. Sasha never accepted her marriage in public and kept it as a secret for a long time.

During this interview, she revealed that it was fans’ reaction which barred him from letting the relationship public. Most of them think that Sarath is an ugly person and he does not deserve to be the life partner of the Boss. Fans even verbally attack him often on twitter.

These weird facts were revealed by Sasha herself on the podcast when she stated:

“OK, you know what? Yes. I’ll tell you. You’re the first one I’ve admitted it to. I am married. I just hide it because our fans are so crazy sometimes, you know? Fans are just so crazy. I see what they write to him on Twitter, and I don’t like that stuff. If you’re saying he’s ugly, or he shouldn’t be with me because of this or that. That hurts me.”
