WWE News: Smackdown Live to Offer Some Dream Rivalries

The Superstar Shakeup is done providing us plenty of makeovers on both Raw and Smackdown brand.

Names like Jinder Mahal, Bobby Roode, Dolph Ziggler, Drew McIntyre, Natalya, Authors of Pain moved to the flagship show, whereas, Jeff Hardy, Samoa Joe, The Miz, Big Cass and more went to Smackdown.

Comparing the acquisitions on both these shows, things are looking bright for the Smackdown brand, at this point. They have been able to take names under their wings that will produce a set of dream matches.

Raw, on the other hand, managed to retain their core set of superstars which will produce some fresh things for sure.

But, that won’t be as good as on Smackdown. While giving you the reasons about this, we should mention Daniel Bryan returning to in-ring action which makes this an A-show, itself. Nobody on the roster is more ‘over’ than this guy who is a universal babyface among all the fans.

Now, keeping him on the same brand with likes of AJ Styles, Shinsuke Nakamura, Jeff Hardy, Samoa Joe or The Miz will be able to produce money matched. Just imagine the scenario where Bryan and AJ compete in a match which would automatically get converted into a Summerslam or Wrestlemania kind of match.

Going forward, we can certainly expect to see this match, at least for once. The same can be said for Bryan vs Joe or Bryan vs Nakamura match, too which is bound to happen. All of these feuds will be interesting in a babyface vs heel scenario. Apart from this, you have to think about Styles vs Samoa Joe match.

It would reincarnate a rivalry from the TNA Impact wrestling from a long time ago. We should remember Jeff Hardy is in the mix, as well who returned to his home of Smackdown, after a long time. In turn, all of these superstars can compete in the main event capacities which were blocked by Brock Lesnar on Raw for a long time.

Hopefully, the creative team will do justice to these mouth-watering feuds, going forward. The new general manager of the show, Paige can’t be happier about this. On her debut night, she gave us Styles vs Bryan which was an indication of things to come. The upcoming months are going to be certainly interesting which would remove the dull memories of the pre-Wrestlemania season.
