As seen on this week, Kevin Owens and Shane McMahon will battle in a “Career vs. Career” Ladder match on next week’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown on FOX (It will also be SmackDown’s 20th-anniversary show). Whoever loses this match will have to leave the WWE, thereafter. So the anticipation is much higher around this match which will either remove the Prizefighter from the blue brand or else it will no longer have McMahon as the authority figure.

A spoiler is now out regarding the outcome of Shane McMahon vs. Kevin Owens on Smackdown. It hints that the heel authority figure will no more be around WWE shows, anymore. According to WrestlingNews.Co, the plan for Owens – Shane storyline has always been to ‘phase out’ the latter one from WWE TV. It finally happens permanently when McMahon comes up short in this match and take a hiatus from WWE programming. Check out more information on this from wwfoldschool.com,
“Also, with FOX wanting a sports-like feel from SmackDown, WWE won’t be using any authority figure on SmackDown anymore. So expect Owens to defeat Shane next week on SmackDown and “The Best In The World” would then be written off WWE TV. However, that doesn’t mean Shane is going to retire from in-ring competition in WWE. We’ll keep you updated regarding Shane O’Mac’s status.”
Fans have complained a lot about Shane McMahon getting more attention on WWE TV rather than the younger superstars for the past few months. So Kevin Owens started a campaign against him that started this exciting storyline on Smackdown Live. They have already competed in a match at Summerslam with Owens picking up the win. He is all set to get the second win, as well on October 4th and close the chapter with McMahon.
