Most of the championships will be on the line at Wrestlemania 35. More than 15 matches are official to take place on this show that we also know as the biggest event of the year. No wonder why the anticipation is much higher around the audience for these title bouts as well as the other bouts to happen during the show.
Two of the headliners of Wrestlemania 35 will take place from WWE Raw division where men and women’s division championships will be on the line. The capacity is much higher in the women’s title picture where both Raw and Smackdown women’s title will be on the line in the main event of this year’s edition.
Seth Rollins will challenge Brock Lesnar for the Universal Championship at Wrestlemania 35. In the other matchup, Smackdown women’s champion Charlotte Flair is challenging Raw Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey and Royal Rumble winner Becky Lynch in a match having the ‘winner takes all’ stipulation.
In this case, the winning superstar will get to become a dual women’s champion after Wrestlemania 35. The question is who could make history by pulling off the bigger task on Sunday Night. A reliable source has given hints around the match saying that the most popular superstar of WWE Universe will come out victorious of the show.
Dave Meltzer reported on the Observer giving a positive update on the women’s title match at Wrestlemania 35. At this point, Becky Lynch seems the favorite one to leave WrestleMania 35 with both Raw and Smackdown women’s championships. Maybe her win is the only reason why WWE put both the titles on the line.
Here’s more from Meltzer as stated on Wrestling Observer Radio:
“The idea is to make this the biggest Women’s Title match of all time with everything at stake and the person that everyone wants to see win is gonna win and she the chosen one. She is the one that they picked. I mean maybe not last year, but it’s been that way for months. I think some people do know that, but it just amazes me that people can watch this TV and not see it.”
As for the Wrestlemania Universal Championship match goes, Seth Rollins is no more the favorite like earlier times. Updated betting odds are strictly against him. According to 5Dimes, Brock Lesnar is the favorite to retain his title standing tall against his challenger. This would be his third straight victory on the grandest stage for the Universal title.
