As if the injured list of the superstars were not long enough after Wrestlemania 35, WWE added one more name to it. One of the popular superstars from the Smackdown roster has been dealing with a concussion, as per the latest confirmations from WWE.com. The New Day member Big E is the name who suffered a knee injury and might be facing some time on the sidelines.

Big E alongside with his New Day brethren was in action on this past episode of Smackdown Live in the main event tag team match. He was doing all okay then which signifies that the injury occurred during the match itself. The superstar in concern himself posted an update on Twitter after which WWE.com posted the below to reveal the exact location of the injury,
“Big E of The New Day has suffered a torn meniscus, according to a tweet from the Superstar posted Thursday afternoon. He is not currently medically cleared for action. Stay with all of WWE’s digital platforms for more details on Big E’s status as they become available.”

WWE may have had a plan with The New Day following Wrestlemania which may suffer a big problem with this injury. Kofi Kingston will feature in the main event picture on Smackdown, for now. The other two of his faction i.e. Big E and Woods would be heading into a feud with The Bar as we approach towards the Money In The Bank pay-per-view event. But with one of them suffering the roadblock, WWE may have to re-sketch the plans.
As mentioned above, the next PPV event in the WWE schedule is Money In The Bank pay-per-view. It takes place in seven weeks from now on Sunday, May 19, 2019, at the XL Center in Hartford, Connecticut. WWE has kept enough gap between the two events i.e. Wrestlemania 35 and MITB. So hopefully the muscle of The New Day gets fit to compete by then.
Big E is not the only superstar to face injury at Wrestlemania 35. Ronda Rousey suffered a broken hand during the main event match. AJ Styles suffered a hip injury in his match against Randy Orton. Also, Daniel Bryan is present in the list who got bitten by the bug in the WWE Championship match against Kofi Kingston.
