The New Day was not seen in the WWE ever since an ambush was done to them by the Revivals on Raw after Wrestlemania. On that night, Dash and Dawson attacked them from behind delivering a sneak attack on Kofi Kingston.

Kofi’s knee was injured badly requiring a small surgery. Xavier Woods was also busy with his Youtube channel UpUpDownDown commitment which barred The New Day from appearing on WWE TV. In the meantime, they were moved to Smackdown Live during the Superstar Shakeup.

The videos around their return have been a contest thing on the show every Tuesday. However, they are yet to make their presence felt on the show. No updates were given from the WWE as of when we could expect to see the unicorns back in the scene.

A report from Cagesideseats stated that The New Day will be back in WWE around June. Earlier next month we can expect to see them returning to the company which is not only an exciting news for the WWE fans but also for the WWE, itself.

The trio is one of the most popular groups in the history of the company. Also, they are the top merchandise sellers for the WWE, today. So, the company intends to bring them back as early as possible.

Earlier, Kofi’s injury was expected to be much severe forcing him to stay away from in-ring competition for nearly two months. But, as per recent diagnosis, the high-flier has recovered earlier than expected. He is said to be medically clear, sooner to check the biggest constraint on their return.

Also, their arrival would revitalise the tag team division of the blue brand which requires an imminent push. The title reign of the Usos has fallen short to a great extent. They were not given the required spotlight they needed.

The arrival of the longest reigning tag champs will change the scenario. A feud between these two teams would bring the tag division into the spotlight, quickly. This would be a refreshed thing for both the teams. For now, The Usos are set to defend their titles against Breezango at Backlash.
