WWE heading back to Saudi Arabia is not the biggest news for many of the fans. There’s no lack of efforts from the company’s side to make the show as bigger as possible. But still, the bad PR problems continue. Otherwise, the upcoming Super ShowDown in Saudi Arabia will witness star-studded affairs with Goldberg, Undertaker and Brock Lesnar coming back to action.

This time around, three more names are also going back to Saudi Arabia who did not perform during Crown Jewel back in November 2018. These names are Roman Reigns, Daniel Bryan and Sami Zayn. As we all know, the Jamal Khashoggi controversy was a burning issue back then leading these superstars to dodge the spectacle hosted in Saudi Arabia.
But the current reports are suggesting that all these three superstars are ready to go back to Saudi Arabia on June 7th. As per a report from PWInsider.com, Roman Reigns, Daniel Bryan and Sami Zayn will be in action at the pay-per-view named Super ShowDown. Bryan and Reigns will feature in separate actions whereas Zayn will be in the 50 men battle royal.

Concerns were much bigger regarding Sami Zayn in Saudi Arabia shows from last year’s Greatest Royal Rumble. He is a Syrian-Muslim by descent that does not suit well in Saudi Arabia. So it was a tough decision to drop him from the match card, last year. Later in Crown Jewel, he was out of action due to a shoulder injury.
In the case of Daniel Bryan, he directly denied heading to Saudi Arabia due to PR reasons. But there was no heat on him as he won the WWE title very soon after the show. As for Roman Reigns, he also refused to work at Crown Jewel in November. But the Leukemia situation forced him to go out of action, anyway. This time around, Super ShowDown is advertising both these men on the card.
It is to remind you that Super ShowDown will be the next PPV event following Money in the Bank. It will take place at the King Abdullah Sports City Stadium in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia on Friday, June 7th. The main event of the night will feature Goldberg vs. The Undertaker in a first-time matchup. Triple H will face Randy Orton in a match whereas there will also be a 50-man battle royal match.
