A locker-room attitude problem is nothing new in WWE. Especially if the name is Ronda Rousey, throwing tantrums can be a regular thing.
The mainstream sports name arrived in the WWE to bring more of that attention in the world of pro-wrestling. So, it would not be surprising if she demands the focus to be on her, all the time. But, thankfully the women’s locker room environment is not that much worse.
The speculations of a disagreement between Ronda Rousey and the rest of the locker room were there, all the times. WWE signed her with a heavy amount of money that is similar to that of three or four superstars, combined.
She can attract many viewers more to the WWE TV in comparison to the other women superstars.
In case you don’t know, Charlotte Flair and Nikki Bella are on the 2nd and 3rd position from the contract amount prospective. But, they lagged far behind when it comes to the amount of money offered to Ronda.
So, the rumours were there that Ronda Rousey might share attitude problems with her colleagues. Furthermore, the rest of the women would automatically have negatively looked at her.
Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Radio discussed this topic on Wrestling Observer Radio. According to him, there’s no doubt Ronda Rousey is the biggest box office attraction in the world of combat sports.
But, she does have a tremendous familiar attitude with her other roster members. There’s no negative behaviour in her mannerism towards her locker roommates. Plus, the veteran sports journalist mentioned how much she managed her to be a low profile at the backstage, (courtesy SportsKeeda.com),
“Meltzer explained that most people have been talking about how refreshing it is to see a mainstream star such as Rousey be so humble backstage. He alluded that unlike several pro-football stars who transitioned to WWE with a negative attitude, Rousey has been level-headed with her attitude in WWE.”
Meltzer also added Ronda Rousey had a solid outing in her first two matches. She was a solid attraction for the fans which live up to the hypes.
Hence, the officials should reserve pretty big things besides her name in the upcoming years. It is almost certain that she will go on to establish herself as a solid WWE women’s superstar in a couple of years.
